Karelian Wood

Karelian timber is considered one of the best in the world. Located in a cold climate zone, the North of Russia has short vegetation season.

Each year, as a tree grows, it adds a ring of new growth to its trunk. Due to the fact that in the North of Russia three summer months quickly give way to cold winters, the trees grow more slowly and rings are much thinner that makes a beautiful perfect drawing.

The trunks are even, the wood is hard and tough. These characteristics make Russian wood an excellent material for any purposes.

North of Russia is one of the best places in the world for trees to grow.
